Cutthroat Trout and Rattlesnakes !

So we start catching some fish today and Dave walks right into a Rattlesnake!

Hears the rattle and holy moley there's the snake. Luckily it took off in the opposite direction.

Fish of the day was 18" Cutthroat about 5 miles east of Yellowstone on the North Fork of the Shoshone River

A real bonus today, a female Bighorn Sheep with a lamb right beside the road.

Tough day in Montana

Tough fishing today. Julie caught a small Brown Trout and I lost one at my feet. 

Beautiful scenery. We will be back after them tomorrow. Lots of people fishing on the weekends

Arrived in Red Lodge this afternoon, seems like the heat is following us where ever we go 90's today. Cooler weather is coming.

Buffalo, Wyoming

Arrived in Buffalo to 100 degrees while looking at snow on top of the Bighorn Mountains.
